Moins d’un an après sa disparition, deux films consacrés à Steve Jobs sont déjà en préparation. Jobs – Get Inspired et Steve Jobs raconteront la vie du PDG d’Apple.

Jobs – Get Inspired : Ashton Kutcher, Josh Gad, Joshua Michael Stern

Dans Jobs, Ashton Kutcher incarnera Steve Jobs. L’acteur américain se prépare activement à son rôle. Il a été aperçu avec la coiffure et la barbe du jeune Steve Jobs. Il était habillé d’un col roulé noir, d’un jean Levi’s délavé et de baskets New Balance, la tenue du vieux Steve Jobs.

Steve Wozniak, le cofondateur d’Apple sera interprété par Josh Gad. L’acteur américain eu de petits rôles dans les films Las Vegas 21 et The Rocker, mais aussi dans les séries Urgences, Numbers et Californication.

Ce biopic indépendant sera réalisé par Joshua Michael Stern. Inconnu du grand public, M.Stern a participé à l’écriture de Swing Vote, The Contractor et Amityville, la maison des poupées.

Kutcher is starring as the late Apple honcho in a new biopic that looks to have already started filming. Doing some serious method acting Ashton was really getting into character, sporting long hair, a beard, and the CEO's classic attire of New Balance sneakers, blue jeans, and a black turtleneck sweater and it's not hard to see why the 'Two and a Half Men' actor was chosen for the role. The producer of the film Mark Hulme, using the working title 'Jobs: Get Inspired', has said he chose Kutcher for the role because of his likeness to the Apple co-founder, especially during the period of time the film will cover, the early years of the Apple founder's life from 1971 until 2000. Steve Jobs : Aaron Sorkin, Walter Isaacson, Sony

Le film Steve Jobs sera l’adaptation de la biographie officielle de Steve Jobs écrite par Walter Isaacson, biographe et ancien directeur du magazine Time. Sony a racheté les droits du best-seller pour un million de dollars.

Aaron Sorkin a été choisi pour écrire le scénario de Steve Jobs. L’acteur et scénariste américain a reçu l’Oscar du meilleur scénario adapté en 2011 pour le film The Social Network, consacré à l’histoire de Facebook et à l’ascension de son créateur Mark Zuckerberg.
